Welcome

You’ve come to the right place to discover resources about death and dying. We’re here to help dispel the taboo that exists around death. We can talk about it and, in doing so, make it less frightening and foreboding. Rather than waiting for serious illness or aging to make it okay to discuss end-of-life issues, we believe now is just the right time. Thanks for being here. We hope we can enlighten you on topics you’re curious about and maybe, begin to help everyone plan for a good death.

Welcome-to-Death-Education-Center

Whether we want to admit it or not, we’re all dying. We see signs all around us that serve as reminders: a dying flower, a beautiful sunset, the changing of the months. Denial is a good coping mechanism. It works best during times of crisis when we are too overwhelmed to cope. However, we can and should talk about death and dying. It makes it much more manageable. Eventually, we can talk about our own dying. How we’d like it to be. What we hope might happen. Now is the time to begin.
